A Voluntary Aided Church in Wales School

Ysgol Y Plas is a Church in Wales Aided School. 

We have a Christian ethos which underpins everything we do. We hold a service in the mornings and two collective worship assemblies in class per week. We also hold a reflection in the classroom at the end of every school day and have a reflection area in every classroom. 

Every term our pupils go to the local church where they take part in Wellbeing Wednesday which centres around our Christian Values and Bible stories. We believe RVE and Spirituality is part of a broader process of education which helps children to make sense of the world and how they relate to it.
